G.E. Schmidt purchased R&W Cushways Ltd. in 2010 and formed Cushway-Schmidt Ltd., a company with a combined 135 years of experience serving the international resistance welding industry. Cushway-Schmidt became G.E. Schmidt UK in 2023. GES UK, known for high-quality machined copper, provides full-service solutions throughout the U.K. and Europe, from transformers and welders to custom-made electrodes.

Located in Hastingwood, Harlow (U.K.), GES UK distributes welders and components, nut and bolt feeders, ceramic and ceramic-coated weld pins, copper electrodes, tip-dressing tools and quality assurance measures.
